MKM Stadium was the venue for Hull City’s 2–0 win over Manchester United on the 2026–27 Premier League opening weekend.
The stadium is in Kingston upon Hull and is Hull City’s home ground. It opened in 2002 and has carried several names, including KC Stadium and KCOM Stadium, because of changes in sponsorship.
Hull played their first top-flight home match there after returning to the Premier League. Semi Ajayi scored in the 17th minute, and Nobel Mendy added a second goal before half-time to secure a famous victory.
The naming history makes this answer easy to mix up. KCOM Stadium was the ground’s name from 2016 to 2021, while MKM Stadium has been the current sponsored name since 2021. It is also not the stadium of Leicester City, whose home is King Power Stadium.
