The plant-covered Snorlax in Pokémon Pokopia is called Mosslax.
Mosslax is a special Pokémon encountered as Ditto restores the world. The character is described as a Snorlax that slept for so long that moss and other plants grew over its body.
The idea builds on Snorlax’s famous tendency to sleep for long periods, but Pokopia turns that trait into a visual and narrative feature. Mosslax looks integrated into the recovering environment, making it one of the game’s memorable variations on a familiar Pokémon.
Mosslax is not a new evolution or a standard regional form of Snorlax. It is a named individual character, similar to other unusual Pokémon in the story, including Peakychu, Smearguru, Chef Dente, DJ Rotom, and Tinkmaster.
