What is the name of the Sabre CEO played by Kathy Bates?

The Sabre CEO played by Kathy Bates is Jo Bennett.

Joleen “Jo” Bennett is the forceful Southern businesswoman who leads Sabre when the company acquires Dunder Mifflin. Bates first appears as Jo through a video chat in “Sabre,” then visits the Scranton branch in person. Her direct management style contrasts with Michael Scott’s emotional improvisation and gives the company a more corporate power center.

Jo is portrayed as a wealthy, independent executive with two Great Danes, a white Cadillac Escalade Hybrid, a pilot’s license, and a history as a breast cancer survivor. She also owns an autobiography titled Take A Good Look. These details help distinguish her from other senior women in the series, especially Karen Filippelli, Nellie Bertram, and Jan Levinson.

In season 8, Jo gives up the CEO position after Robert California persuades her to appoint him, although she remains chairman of the board. She later sells Dunder Mifflin to David Wallace and plans to liquidate Sabre’s assets. Bates eventually left the show because of her commitment to Harry’s Law.
