What is the name of the Powerpuff Girls’ superhero team’s boy counterpart group?

The Rowdyruff Boys are the boy counterpart group to the Powerpuff Girls.

The Rowdyruff Boys are created by Mojo Jojo as male counterparts to Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. The trio consists of Brick, Boomer, and Butch, who possess powers comparable to those of the girls and behave as aggressive rivals.

Their personalities and names deliberately mirror the original team in a rougher, more destructive form. Brick is generally presented as the leader, while Boomer and Butch complete the group. Their rivalry provides a gender-swapped counterpart to the girls’ team dynamic without making them permanent members of the heroes’ side.

The Rowdyruff Boys are distinct from the Gangreen Gang, a criminal group led by Ace. They are also different from the Amoeba Boys, whose members are much less capable villains. The boys’ defining role is serving as the Powerpuff Girls’ superpowered counterparts.
