The Quran says Noah’s Ark came to rest on Mount Judi.
Surah Hud 11:44 describes the waters subsiding and the Ark settling on al-Judi. This is the Quranic location associated with the end of the Flood narrative, and it differs from Genesis, which refers to the mountains of Ararat.
Mount Judi is commonly identified with Cudi Dağı in southeastern Turkey, near the borders of Turkey and Iraq. The geographical identification is traditional and has been discussed in Islamic historical and exegetical writing.
Mount Judi should not be treated as another name for Mount Ararat. Ararat belongs especially to the Genesis tradition and later Christian and Armenian associations, while Judi is the mountain named in the Quranic account.
