What is the name of the dream world in Rayman Origins?

The story behind the answer

The dream world in Rayman Origins is called the Glade of Dreams. It is the colorful fantasy realm where Rayman, Globox, the Teensies and the Electoons live, and where the game’s adventure unfolds.

In the game’s story, Bubble Dreamer, also known as Polokus, rests in the Snoring Tree with Rayman and his friends. Their noisy snoring disturbs an elderly resident of the Land of the Livid Dead, who retaliates by sending Darktoons and other hostile creatures into the Glade. The invasion disrupts the world, imprisons Electoons and places the nymphs in danger.

The name can be confused with a generic phrase such as “the Dreamworld,” but the Glade of Dreams is the established in-universe location. It is more than a backdrop: its different regions, including the Jibberish Jungle, Desert of Dijiridoos and Moody Clouds, form the game’s connected setting. The Glade also remains important in later Rayman stories, including Rayman Legends, where its inhabitants again face a new supernatural threat.
