What is the name of the Disney resort that includes both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure? The answer is Disneyland Resort.

Disneyland Resort is the entertainment complex in Anaheim, California, that contains two theme parks: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. It also includes Disney-owned hotels and Downtown Disney, a shopping, dining, and entertainment district.

The complex began with Disneyland, which opened on July 17, 1955, as the first theme park created by the Walt Disney Company. Disney California Adventure opened on February 8, 2001, helping transform the original park property into a larger, multi-park destination.

A frequent mix-up is treating Disneyland Park and Disneyland Resort as interchangeable names. Disneyland Park is one theme park; Disneyland Resort is the larger complex containing both parks and additional facilities. Walt Disney World, by contrast, is Disney’s separate resort destination in Florida.
