What is the name of the comedy duo in the original series?

The comedy duo in the original series is Bulk and Skull. Farkas “Bulk” Bulkmeier and Eugene “Skull” Skullovitch are Angel Grove teenagers who provide comic relief alongside the Rangers’ superhero adventures.

They first appear in “Day of the Dumpster,” the 1993 premiere of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Initially portrayed as school bullies, they usually target the Rangers in ordinary scenes at Angel Grove High School or the Youth Center, while their schemes end in slapstick humiliation.

Bulk is the larger, more dominant member of the pair, while Skull is leaner and often follows Bulk’s lead. Paul Schrier played Bulk and Jason Narvy played Skull. Their exaggerated mannerisms, cartoon sound effects, and repeated failures made them recurring comic foils rather than members of the Ranger team.

Their roles gradually changed. By the third season, Bulk and Skull joined the Angel Grove Junior Police Patrol and became more sympathetic, good-natured characters. They continued appearing through later Power Rangers series, although their original dynamic is most closely associated with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
