What is the name of the Bond villain played by Javier Bardem in Skyfall?

Javier Bardem plays the Bond villain Raoul Silva in Skyfall.

Silva is a former MI6 agent who seeks revenge against M, Bond’s superior, after believing she abandoned him during an operation in Hong Kong. His vendetta drives the film’s cyberattacks, prison escape and assault on Skyfall, Bond’s ancestral home in Scotland.

Skyfall was released in 2012 and starred Daniel Craig as Bond and Judi Dench as M. Sam Mendes directed the film, which became a major commercial success and marked the 50th anniversary year of the Bond film series.
