What is the name of Goofy's son?
Answer
Max Goof
Answer
Max Goof
Goofy’s son is named Max Goof.
Max is Goofy’s only widely recognized child and is usually portrayed as a young, energetic boy who admires his father while also wanting to establish his own identity. The character’s relationship with Goofy supplies much of the humor and heart in stories about their family life.
Max first appeared in the 1992 television series Goof Troop, where he and Goofy live in the suburban community of Spoonerville. He later became the central character of A Goofy Movie, released in 1995, and its 2000 sequel, An Extremely Goofy Movie. In those films, Max is a teenager and college student rather than the small child seen in Goof Troop.
Max is sometimes confused with “Junior Goof,” an earlier name and version of Goofy’s son used in older Disney material. Pluto and Mickey Mouse are Goofy’s friends, not his children. Continuity also varies across Disney productions: Max’s age and circumstances change, but “Max Goof” remains the standard name for Goofy’s son.
