What is the name of Dr. Cortex's niece?

Dr. Cortex's niece is Nina Cortex.

Nina is a gothic, mechanically enhanced character connected to Dr. Neo Cortex, the franchise's recurring mad scientist. She is generally portrayed as his niece and sometimes assists him in schemes involving world domination. Her distinctive mechanical hands, which function like powerful grappling claws, are among her most recognizable features.

Nina first appeared in the handheld game Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage and later became prominent in Crash Twinsanity. She also appears in games such as Crash of the Titans, Crash: Mind over Mutant and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.

There has been some backstory inconsistency about whether Nina was intended to be Cortex's daughter or niece. Early development reportedly considered both relationships, and Crash Twinsanity includes jokes that play with the idea. However, “Nina Cortex” is the established canonical answer used for the character's identity.

N. Gin is Cortex's assistant, while Tawna is associated with Crash and Coco is Crash's sister.
