Burberry’s sustainable collection launched in 2020 was called ReBurberry, officially styled the “ReBurberry Edit.”

Announced on 22 April 2020, the edit selected 26 styles from Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection. The pieces used newer sustainable materials, including ECONYL, a recycled nylon made from regenerated fishing nets, textile scraps, and industrial plastic. The range included trench coats, parkas, capes, eyewear, belt packs, and backpacks.

ReBurberry was more than a marketing name for green clothing. Burberry introduced pistachio-coloured sustainability labels alongside the edit, giving customers information about materials, production standards, carbon emissions, and social criteria. The company said two-thirds of its products then met more than one of these “positive attributes,” with a goal of extending that to all products by 2022.
