What is the name of Beyoncé's sixth studio album, released in 2022?

Renaissance is Beyoncé's sixth studio album, released in 2022.

Renaissance arrived on July 29, 2022, and is the first act of a planned three-part project. It followed Lemonade, released six years earlier, and marked Beyoncé's return to a full-length solo studio album. The record draws heavily on house, disco, dance, funk, and Black club-music traditions.

The lead single, “Break My Soul,” became Beyoncé's first solo number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100 since “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” in 2008. Other tracks include “Cuff It,” “Alien Superstar,” and “Virgo's Groove.” The album received widespread critical acclaim and won the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album.

Renaissance is sometimes confused with The Gift, Beyoncé's 2019 album connected with The Lion King, or Cowboy Carter, her 2024 album. Those are separate releases in her discography.
