Beyoncé’s 2019 concert film about her 2018 Coachella performance is Homecoming.
Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé was released on Netflix on April 17, 2019. It documents the preparation and staging of Beyoncé’s performances at the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
The performance became known for its celebration of historically Black colleges and universities, including marching-band arrangements, majorette-style choreography, and appearances by Destiny’s Child. The set list covered songs from Beyoncé’s solo career and her earlier group work.
The film is paired with a live album also titled Homecoming: The Live Album. It differs from Black Is King, a 2020 visual album and film connected to The Lion King: The Gift, and from Life Is But a Dream, a 2013 documentary.
