Beyoncé’s 2008 alter ego was called Sasha Fierce. She introduced the persona as a more bold and confident stage identity connected to the album I Am... Sasha Fierce.

The double album contrasted two sides of her artistic presentation. The I Am... disc emphasized more personal ballads, while the Sasha Fierce disc focused on energetic, performance-oriented songs. Major tracks from the project included “If I Were a Boy,” “Halo,” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).”
