Beyoncé launched Ivy Park in partnership with Sir Philip Green in 2016.
Ivy Park was introduced as an activewear brand created by Beyoncé and Green, who was then associated with the retail group Arcadia. The name refers to Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy, and Parkwood Park in Houston, where Beyoncé said she exercised and spent time growing up.
The brand’s first collection was released in April 2016 through retailers including Topshop. It combined athletic clothing with fashion-focused styling and was marketed around movement, confidence, and inclusivity.
Beyoncé later became the sole owner of Ivy Park after acquiring Green’s share in 2018. In 2020, Adidas announced a partnership with Beyoncé to develop and distribute Ivy Park products. Ivy Park is distinct from Rihanna’s Fenty and Kim Kardashian’s Skims.
