What 2019 film documents Beyoncé’s 2018 Coachella performances?

Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé documents Beyoncé’s 2018 Coachella performances.

The concert film premiered on Netflix in April 2019. It combines performance footage from Beyoncé’s headline sets with behind-the-scenes material about the preparation, rehearsals, dancers, musicians, and production team.

Her Coachella shows were notable for centering historically Black colleges and universities, marching-band traditions, majorette choreography, and a large Black ensemble of performers. The performances were widely nicknamed “Beychella.” Homecoming also includes Beyoncé discussing the physical demands of preparing for the festival after giving birth to twins in 2017.
