On which handheld console did Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure release?

The story behind the answer

Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure was released on the Game Boy Advance. The 2002 handheld game was developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Universal Interactive.

Known as Crash Bandicoot XS in Europe and Crash Bandicoot Advance in Japan, it was the seventh Crash Bandicoot game and the franchise's first title released on a handheld console. Its arrival also ended the series' earlier exclusivity to Sony hardware.

The game adapts the series' platforming formula to the Game Boy Advance's 2D screen. Crash travels through hub areas, collects 20 Crystals and battles Cortex's forces after the Planetary Minimizer shrinks the Earth. The design borrows ideas and assets from the PlayStation-era games while creating new levels for the portable format.

The other choices are later handheld or mobile possibilities associated with the broader franchise, not this particular release. The N-Gage, PSP and Nintendo DS all hosted other Crash-related games, which can make the platform question easy to mix up.
