On which console did Uncharted: Drake's Fortune originally release?

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune originally released on the PlayStation 3. Naughty Dog developed the 2007 action-adventure game as a PlayStation 3 exclusive, making it the first entry in the Uncharted series and one of the studio’s first major projects for Sony’s then-new hardware.

The game launched in North America on November 19, 2007, followed by releases in Australia and Europe. Its design combined third-person shooting, platforming, exploration, puzzles, and cinematic set pieces, introducing Nathan Drake, Elena Fisher, and Victor Sullivan.

A common mix-up comes from later releases. The first three main Uncharted games were eventually remastered for PlayStation 4 in Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, released in 2015. That compilation does not change the original platform of Drake’s Fortune: its debut was firmly on PlayStation 3.

The PlayStation 3 version also helped establish the series’ technical identity, using the console’s Cell processor, Blu-ray storage, advanced lighting, and motion-sensitive Sixaxis controls.
