On which album was 'Landslide' originally released?

The story behind the answer

“Landslide” was originally released on Fleetwood Mac, the band’s 1975 self-titled album.

The song was written and sung by Stevie Nicks before Fleetwood Mac became one of the biggest bands in the world. Nicks composed it while visiting Aspen, Colorado, during a period when she was uncertain whether to return to school or continue pursuing music with Lindsey Buckingham. The Rocky Mountains outside the window helped inspire the song’s imagery of change, age and emotional upheaval.

Fleetwood Mac recorded the track after Nicks and Buckingham joined the band in late 1974. Buckingham’s intricate acoustic-guitar part, built around alternating bass notes and fingerpicking, gives the recording its intimate character. Although “Landslide” became one of the group’s best-known songs, it was not initially issued as a major studio single.

Many listeners know the later live version from The Dance, Fleetwood Mac’s 1997 reunion album, or covers by the Chicks and Smashing Pumpkins. Those versions can make the song seem newer than it is, but the original studio recording appeared on the 1975 album, before Rumours and long before The Dance.
