On what date were the 31st Critics Choice Awards presented in 2026?

The 31st Critics Choice Awards were presented on January 4, 2026.

The ceremony honored achievements in film and television released during 2025. It took place at the Barker Hangar, a well-known event venue at Santa Monica Airport in Santa Monica, California.

The ceremony’s date can be confused with the year of the works being honored. Although the awards were presented in 2026, the eligible films and television programs primarily represented the 2025 entertainment year. The ceremony was broadcast on E! and USA Network.

The 31st edition also introduced several new categories, including Best Casting and Ensemble, Best Sound, Best Stunt Design, and Best Variety Series. Those additions made the 2026 event notable beyond its major acting and picture awards.
