On what date did Apollo 15 land near the Hadley–Apennine region of the Moon?

The story behind the answer

Apollo 15 landed near the Hadley–Apennine region of the Moon on July 30, 1971.

The mission's lunar module, Falcon, touched down at 22:16:29 UTC. Commander David Scott and lunar module pilot James Irwin landed in the Hadley–Apennine area, close to Hadley Rille and the Montes Apenninus mountain range.

Apollo 15 launched from Kennedy Space Center on July 26, 1971, and returned to Earth on August 7. Its landing site was selected for the region's varied geology, allowing the astronauts to study mountains, a deep rille, and ancient lunar rocks.

The date is sometimes confused with July 26, the launch date, or August 2, when the astronauts lifted off from the Moon. Apollo 15 was the fourth successful crewed lunar landing and the first to use the Lunar Roving Vehicle.
