On what date did Apollo 13 launch from Florida on its planned journey to the Moon?

The story behind the answer

Apollo 13 launched from Florida on April 11, 1970, beginning its planned journey to the Moon.

The Saturn V lifted commander Jim Lovell, command module pilot Jack Swigert, and lunar module pilot Fred Haise from Kennedy Space Center. The mission was intended to land in the Fra Mauro region, but an oxygen-tank explosion in the service module forced NASA to abandon the landing attempt.

The crew used the lunar module Aquarius as a lifeboat and looped around the Moon before returning safely to Earth on April 17. Apollo 13's launch date is distinct from April 13, the day of the major onboard accident, a date often remembered because of the mission's famous emergency.
