In which Uncharted game was Chloe Frazer first introduced?

The story behind the answer

Chloe Frazer was first introduced in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. She enters the series as a professional treasure hunter and business associate of Nathan Drake and Harry Flynn, during a job involving an oil lamp in a Turkish museum.

Chloe is both an ally and a rival. She and Drake had a romantic history before the game begins, and their relationship resumes during the search for Shambhala. Her shifting loyalties become central to the story: she works with Drake at times but also travels with Zoran Lazarević’s group while secretly acting as a double agent.

The character was designed as a foil to Drake. Unlike Elena Fisher’s more principled personality, Chloe is self-interested, impulsive, and willing to take risks, yet she is also highly capable and resourceful. Claudia Black provides her voice in the games.

A common mix-up is confusing Chloe’s first appearance with her later starring role. She returned in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and became the lead character of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, but neither game introduced her.
