In which chapter of Winnie-the-Pooh do Kanga and Roo first arrive in the Forest?
Answer
Chapter seven
Answer
Chapter seven
Kanga and Roo first arrive in the Forest in chapter seven of Winnie-the-Pooh.
Their arrival changes the social world of the book. The other animals initially fear Kanga because they do not know her, and Rabbit helps organize a plan involving Roo. The apparent threat soon gives way to friendship.
Kanga is Roo’s mother, and Roo is the youngest major member of the original group. The episode also establishes Kanga as a practical, caring character who becomes part of the Forest community.
This chapter is sometimes remembered as a story about a kidnapping plot, but its real outcome is the introduction of two new friends. Tigger arrives later, in The House at Pooh Corner.
