Conan O’Brien’s TBS show Conan premiered in 2010.
The first episode aired on November 8, 2010. The series followed O’Brien’s departure from NBC, where he had hosted Late Night with Conan O’Brien and briefly presented The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien.
Moving to TBS allowed O’Brien to return to a later-night format under a title built around his first name. The program featured monologues, celebrity interviews, comedy sketches, musical guests, and remote pieces, with Andy Richter again serving as sidekick.
The series ran until 2021. Its premiere year is sometimes confused with 2009, when O’Brien became host of The Tonight Show, or 2015, when another major late-night host, James Corden, began his CBS tenure.
