Beyoncé founded Parkwood Entertainment in 2010.
Parkwood Entertainment is an American management and entertainment company established by Beyoncé in New York City. It takes its name from the street in Houston, Texas, where Beyoncé lived during her childhood. The company works across music, film, television, fashion and commercial projects.
Parkwood became closely associated with Beyoncé’s highly visual album projects. It was involved in the production and release of Beyoncé, the surprise self-titled visual album issued in December 2013, and later projects including Lemonade, Black Is King and Renaissance.
The company is sometimes confused with Beyoncé’s record-label arrangements. Parkwood is her own entertainment company, while Columbia Records released several of her albums. Parkwood has also supported projects by other artists and helped coordinate Beyoncé’s creative, business and visual work.
