In Toy Story, what is the name of Sid's dog?

The story behind the answer

In Toy Story, Sid’s dog is named Scud.

Scud is Sid Phillips’s aggressive Bull Terrier and serves as a major obstacle for Woody and Buzz. He enjoys chasing and chewing toys, making him especially dangerous in a story where the toys must stay hidden from humans and animals.

Scud first appears after Sid destroys a Combat Carl toy. Later, he pursues Woody and Buzz as they try to reach Andy’s moving van. The chase ends when Scud becomes trapped in the middle of a road after drivers swerve to avoid him, giving the toys a chance to escape.

A frequent mistake is choosing Slinky, Buster, or Rex. Slinky is Andy’s spring-bodied toy dog, Buster is Andy’s real dog introduced later in the franchise, and Rex is the nervous Tyrannosaurus toy. Scud belongs to Sid, not Andy, and appears primarily in the original 1995 film.
