In the Quran, Surah Noah includes Noah’s prayer asking God to destroy the unbelievers. Surah Noah is the 71st chapter of the Quran and is named for the prophet Nuh, the Quranic Arabic form of Noah.
The chapter presents Noah addressing his people, warning them, and describing their rejection of his message. Near its end, Noah asks God not to leave the disbelievers on the earth and explains that their influence would lead others astray. The prayer is part of a broader account of prophetic preaching rather than a full retelling of every Ark detail.
Noah also appears in several other Quranic chapters, especially Surah Hud, which gives a longer account of the Ark and the son who refuses to board. That overlap can cause confusion, but the chapter devoted specifically to Noah’s preaching and final prayer is Surah Noah.
