In The Nightmare Before Christmas, what is the name of Sally's creator?

In The Nightmare Before Christmas, Sally's creator is Doctor Finkelstein.

Doctor Finkelstein is an eccentric scientist who lives in Halloween Town. He creates Sally as a rag doll, assembling her body from separate pieces and bringing her to life. Sally is intelligent and independent, but Finkelstein keeps her under close control and repeatedly prevents her from leaving.

Sally often escapes by removing a stitched limb and reassembling herself after getting away. Her unease about Finkelstein's control contrasts with her compassion and practical judgment, especially when she realizes that Jack Skellington's plan to take over Christmas is dangerous.

The character is voiced by William Hickey in the original film. The stop-motion movie was directed by Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton, whose poem and character designs helped inspire the project. Finkelstein is sometimes mistaken for Victor Frankenstein's creation, but he is an original character named Doctor Finkelstein.
