In Spyro: Year of the Dragon, what are the Sorceress's rhino-based creatures called?

The story behind the answer

The Sorceress's rhino-based creatures in Spyro: Year of the Dragon are called Rhynocs. They serve as the main enemy force used during the invasion of the Dragon Realms.

In the story, Bianca and the Rhynocs steal the dragon eggs during the Year of the Dragon celebration and carry them to the Forgotten Worlds. Spyro must recover the eggs while navigating the Sorceress's realms and defeating the creatures stationed there.

“Rhynocs” is a wordplay name built from “rhino,” reflecting their rhinoceros-like appearance. They are not Gnorcs, the recurring enemies from earlier Spyro games, and they are distinct from the satyrs encountered in the series. Rhynocs later appeared in several other Spyro titles, often serving different villains, but Year of the Dragon established them as the Sorceress's troops.
