In Spyro the Dragon, what is the name of the first level?

The story behind the answer

In Spyro the Dragon, the first level is Stone Hill.

Stone Hill is the opening portal level in the Artisans home world, the first area Spyro explores after the game’s introductory sequence. It teaches the core rhythm of exploration: defeat enemies, collect gems, rescue dragons trapped in crystal, and locate the exit vortex.

The name is sometimes confused with Artisans, but Artisans is the home world rather than a regular level. Town Square and Dark Hollow are also Artisans-area stages, while Stone Hill is the first portal level encountered in the original 1998 PlayStation game. Its broad fields and low-risk layout introduce charging, flame attacks, gliding, treasure collection, and Spyro’s dragonfly companion, Sparx.
