In Spyro 2, what is the name of the professor who gives Spyro advice?

In Spyro 2, the professor who gives Spyro advice is called The Professor. He is an intelligent mole from Avalar and one of the recurring inhabitants who helps Spyro during his journey.

The Professor belongs to the game’s expanded supporting cast, introduced after the first Spyro adventure. He provides guidance and information as Spyro explores the realms of Summer Forest, Autumn Plains, and Winter Tundra while trying to stop Ripto.

Players commonly confuse him with Elora or Hunter because all three advise or assist Spyro. Elora is an Avalarian faun who helps explain the broader situation, while Hunter is a cheetah and Spyro’s athletic friend. Moneybags, the bear, is the character associated with gem payments and purchasable abilities.

Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! was released for the PlayStation in 1999. It expanded the original formula with new moves, collectible orbs, character quests, and a larger cast of named allies.
