In Reservoir Dogs (1992), which actor plays Mr. White, the veteran criminal?
Answer
Harvey Keitel
Answer
Harvey Keitel
Harvey Keitel plays Mr. White, the veteran criminal, in Reservoir Dogs (1992).
Mr. White is one of the color-coded criminals hired for a diamond robbery. After the operation collapses, he helps the badly wounded Mr. Orange reach the gang’s warehouse rendezvous. His loyalty to his injured partner becomes one of the film’s central sources of tension as the surviving criminals suspect that someone informed on the group.
Keitel was also an executive producer on the film and helped Quentin Tarantino secure greater industry attention for the project. Tarantino wrote and directed Reservoir Dogs, his feature directorial debut. The cast includes Tim Roth as Mr. Orange, Steve Buscemi as Mr. Pink and Michael Madsen as Mr. Blonde.
The characters’ aliases are deliberately designed to conceal personal identities and reinforce the film’s stylized crime-world structure. Mr. White should not be confused with Mr. Pink, whose role is played by Buscemi. Reservoir Dogs premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 1992.
