In Inception (2010), which actor plays extraction specialist Dom Cobb?

Leonardo DiCaprio plays extraction specialist Dom Cobb in Inception (2010).

Cobb is the film’s central character, a skilled thief who enters people’s dreams to steal secrets from their subconscious. He is offered a chance to clear his criminal record by performing the more difficult task of planting an idea, known as inception.

Christopher Nolan wrote and directed Inception, which was released in 2010. The film combines science fiction with the structure of a heist movie: Cobb assembles a specialist team, plans an operation, and confronts escalating security inside layered dream worlds.

The cast also includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Arthur, Ellen Page as Ariadne, Tom Hardy as Eames, Ken Watanabe as Saito, and Cillian Murphy as Robert Fischer. DiCaprio’s role is sometimes confused with his later parts in other high-concept thrillers, but Cobb is his character in Inception.
