In Power Rangers, Rita Repulsa's golden general is Goldar.
Goldar is a manticore-themed warrior from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers who serves as one of Rita's most powerful and recognizable lieutenants. He fights with a sword, commands the Putty Patrol, and frequently confronts the Rangers directly rather than merely supervising monster attacks.
Goldar originally serves Rita during her invasion of Earth, but his loyalty shifts when Lord Zedd arrives. He eagerly becomes Zedd's right-hand man and even regains his wings as a reward. When Rita and Zedd later work together, Goldar is forced to serve both villains.
Rito Revolto is Rita's brother, Scorpina is another warrior in Rita's forces, and Finster is her monster-making craftsman. Those characters are associated with Rita, but none is her signature golden general. Goldar also appears in later Power Rangers productions, including Power Rangers Beast Morphers as Goldar Maximus.
