In Pixar’s Cars 2, what is the name of the spy car who asks Mater to help him?

In Pixar’s Cars 2, Finn McMissile is the spy car who asks Mater to help him.

Finn McMissile is a British secret agent who investigates a plot connected with the World Grand Prix. He mistakes Mater for an important American agent, drawing the tow truck into an international espionage adventure. Mater’s accidental involvement becomes the film’s main source of comic misunderstandings.

Finn is designed as a classic spy-car character, with gadgets, disguises, weapons, and a refined British manner. Michael Caine provides his voice in the English version. The character’s name combines a spy-thriller style with the word “missile,” reflecting his action-oriented equipment.

Finn is not the film’s villain. That role is tied to Professor Zündapp and the lemons’ plan, while Finn works to expose the conspiracy. Finn’s partner, Holley Shiftwell, is another secret agent who helps him and eventually recognizes Mater’s value.
