In Mission: Impossible – Fallout, what is the name of the plutonium broker who helps Ethan Hunt?

Alanna Mitsopolis is the plutonium broker who helps Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible – Fallout.

Mitsopolis operates under the alias the White Widow and is played by Vanessa Kirby. She is introduced as an influential arms dealer whose connections and resources become important when Ethan’s team tries to recover stolen plutonium cores.

The character is also the daughter of Max, the arms dealer played by Vanessa Redgrave in the 1996 Mission: Impossible film. That connection links Fallout to the original movie while giving the White Widow her own role in the modern IMF story.

Alanna is sometimes confused with Ilsa Faust, Ethan’s former ally, or Erika Sloane, the CIA director. Julia Meade is Ethan’s wife, so she is another distinct character rather than the plutonium broker.
