In Home Alone, which actor plays the burglar Harry Lime?

In Home Alone, Joe Pesci plays the burglar Harry Lime.

Harry is one half of the Wet Bandits, the criminal team that attempts to rob the McCallister house after Kevin is accidentally left behind. Pesci’s partner, Marv Murchins, is played by Daniel Stern.

Pesci was already known for serious roles, including Goodfellas, when he took the family-comedy part. He deliberately adjusted his performance for younger viewers, using exaggerated reactions and avoiding much of his harsher language. The character’s name is Harry Lime, although some viewers remember the duo mainly by their nickname, the Wet Bandits.
