In darts, how many points is the inner bullseye worth on a standard board?

The story behind the answer

In darts, the inner bullseye on a standard board is worth 50 points. It is the smaller central circle, also called the bullseye or inner bull, and it carries the highest value on a single area of the board.

The surrounding outer bull is worth 25 points. Together, the two bull areas form the central target, but only the inner bull counts as 50 in standard scoring. A player can therefore score 50 with one dart by hitting the centre.

The bullseye is also important in checkout calculations. Since 50 is treated as a double 25 for finishing purposes, it can complete a leg when a player has 50 remaining. This is why commentators may describe a bullseye finish as a bull checkout rather than simply a high score.
