In 'Big Hero 6', the inflatable healthcare robot is Baymax.
Baymax is a white, vinyl-inflatable robot designed to provide medical care and emotional support. In Disney's 2014 animated film, he was created by Tadashi Hamada, the older brother of teenage robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, and activates when Hiro calls for medical assistance.
Baymax's gentle behavior, simple diagnostic questions, and balloon-like body distinguish him from the film's human heroes. Hiro later modifies him with armor, wings, rocket fists, and combat programming so they can confront Yokai, but Baymax's original purpose remains healing rather than fighting.
Yokai is the masked antagonist, Tadashi is Hiro's late brother and Baymax's creator, and Hiro is the young inventor who becomes Baymax's partner. After Baymax sacrifices himself, Hiro preserves his personality chip and eventually transfers it into a replacement body, allowing the healthcare companion to return.
