In BBC's Dragon's Den, which entrepreneur pitched the children's travel case Trunki?

The story behind the answer

Rob Law pitched the children's travel case Trunki on BBC's Dragon's Den.

Law designed Trunki as a ride-on suitcase for children, combining luggage storage with a seat that could be pulled through airports. The product was developed from an earlier prototype called the Ride-on Suitcase.

Trunki appeared on Dragon's Den in 2006, but Law did not secure an investment. The rejection became a frequently discussed example of a business that grew successfully without backing from the programme's investors.

Trunki was manufactured by Law's company, Magmatic. The brand later became internationally known for children's luggage and travel accessories. A common mix-up is to confuse Trunki with other products that received investment on the show; its founder's appearance is notable precisely because the pitch did not result in a deal.
