In Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Evie Frye is the twin Assassin who works with Jacob Frye and leads the Rooks.
Evie and Jacob are siblings who travel to London in 1868 to challenge Templar control during the Industrial Revolution. Jacob focuses heavily on building the Rooks, a street gang allied with the Assassins, while Evie pursues her own investigations and searches for the Shroud of Eden.
Players can switch between the twins during much of the campaign, and each has distinct skill priorities. Jacob emphasizes combat and gang leadership, while Evie's abilities favor stealth and infiltration. Their cooperation is central to the game's story.
The Rooks are not the Assassin Brotherhood itself, and they should not be confused with the Blighters, the rival gang controlled by the Templars. Evie is also distinct from historical figures and other London allies who assist the twins.
