Kassandra is the canon protagonist of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Odyssey lets players choose between Kassandra and Alexios at the beginning of the game. The selected character becomes the playable misthios, while the other sibling takes a different role in the story. Ubisoft later identified Kassandra as the canon protagonist in official material and in the novelization.
This canonical choice does not prevent players from experiencing the game as Alexios. Both options share the main branching structure and much of the same content. The distinction matters when comparing the game’s official timeline, companion media, and references to the Eagle Bearer.
