Noah was 600 years old when the flood began in the Genesis Noah's Ark story.

Genesis 7:6 states that Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came upon the earth. The age appears in the narrative immediately before the account of Noah, his family, and the animals entering the ark.

The same chapter also gives a more precise calendar reference, saying the flood began in Noah's six-hundredth year, in the second month and on the seventeenth day of the month. These details help anchor the story's chronology.

Genesis later says Noah lived 350 years after the flood and died at age 950. That later age is sometimes confused with the age at the flood, but the two figures describe different points in his life.
