Beyoncé’s album Dangerously in Love spent one week at number one on the US Billboard 200.
Released on June 23, 2003, Dangerously in Love was Beyoncé’s debut solo studio album after her success with Destiny’s Child. It opened at number one in the United States with strong first-week sales and established her as a major solo artist.
The album produced the international hits “Crazy in Love” and “Baby Boy,” both of which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. It later won five Grammy Awards at the 46th Annual Grammy Awards in 2004, including Best Contemporary R&B Album. Its one-week Billboard 200 reign is sometimes overlooked because the album generated several major singles and had a long commercial impact beyond its chart-topping week.
