Beyoncé’s 2022 album Renaissance contains 16 tracks.
Renaissance was released on July 29, 2022, as the first act of Beyoncé’s planned three-act project. Its standard edition runs through 16 songs, beginning with “I’m That Girl” and ending with “Summer Renaissance.” The album’s sequence is designed as a continuous dance-oriented listening experience.
The music draws heavily on house, disco, funk, dance-pop, and Black queer club traditions. Major songs include “Break My Soul,” “Cuff It,” “Alien Superstar,” and “Virgo’s Groove.” Beyoncé dedicated the project to her late Uncle Johnny, who introduced her to much of the music that influenced it.
Renaissance debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and earned widespread critical acclaim. The standard track count should not be confused with deluxe editions, bonus releases, or the number of acts planned for the broader trilogy.
