Twenty-two sports were on the programme at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Paris 2024 featured 22 Paralympic sports, matching the number contested at the Tokyo 2020 Games. The programme covered a wide range of disciplines, including para athletics, para swimming, wheelchair basketball, boccia, goalball, sitting volleyball and wheelchair fencing.
The Games took place from 28 August to 8 September 2024. Although the Olympic and Paralympic Games used many of the same venues, the Paralympic programme was separately organized and included events designed around Paralympic sport classifications.
The number of sports is not the same as the number of medal events or disciplines. A single sport can contain many events, weight classes or classifications, so programme totals should not be confused with the total number of competitions.
