Beyoncé’s 2013 visual album Beyoncé contains 14 songs.
Columbia Records released the self-titled album without advance announcement on December 13, 2013. The surprise release included a short film for each of the 14 songs, making the project a visual album rather than a conventional audio release alone.
The track list includes “Pretty Hurts,” “Drunk in Love,” “Partition,” “Flawless,” and “Blue.” The album’s unannounced arrival changed expectations for how major artists could release and promote music.
The number of videos is a common source of confusion. The project is associated with 17 music videos, including additional visual material, but its core album track list contains 14 songs.
