How many of Beyoncé’s first six solo studio albums debuted at number one on the Billboard 200?

The story behind the answer

All six of Beyoncé’s first six solo studio albums debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.

The sequence began with Dangerously in Love in 2003 and continued with B’Day, I Am... Sasha Fierce, 4, Beyoncé, and Lemonade. This gave Beyoncé a consecutive run of six number-one solo studio albums in the United States.

The achievement is notable because Beyoncé’s self-titled 2013 album was released with virtually no traditional advance campaign, yet it still opened at number one. Lemonade extended the streak in 2016. Renaissance, released in 2022, also debuted at number one, but it was her seventh solo studio album and therefore is not part of the first-six count.
